{UAH} What do you think about Donald Trump Jr. reportedly thinking his dad is going to lose in November?

The way you tell what someone thinks is to listen to what they say. Weirdly enough, although there will be 5,000 posts claiming this is impossible, it is a pretty common method of evidence for internal dialog. If you say it, the theory goes, you had to think it first.

Several reports are coming out from insiders in the campaign that Donald Trump Junior has become increasingly nervous about the election hopes of his father. He is basically saying, "we are losing, and if we losing we are in a world of trouble!"

The losing part is easy to see. The numbers are against Trump and the electoral college is a difficult grab. Many of the methods being used to cheat the election are being discovered, and the courts are not being friendly with them. They have go to far and Republicans are starting to leap off the ship.

Why does he think they are in a world of trouble though? Carter went home after one term, and so did the elder Bush.

Because one of the common issues of table talk is what will happen if we lose and the indictments start to flow. Trump Jr. has a lot to answer for, from way before the campaign started, and without his father being president no one will pardon him. While much of the campaign staff and White House are saying, "we are all screwed if we lose, so lets win anyway possible," Donald Trump Junior is becoming despondent. The reason people close to him claim is:

1. If dad saves anyone it will be Ivanka, not him.
2. There are already nine investigations where his name is on the list of co-conspirators at least two resulted in open and shut court verdicts, and Manafort is a third.
3. The DOJ is only hanging fire because of corruption at the top, but when Barr is lead off to jail, what is the chance he will take major jail time to protect Junior?
4. The Republican party may be wedded to Trump, but they have no reason to love Junior who has pushed all the wrong people all the wrong ways and come off looking like a moron.

I think it seems Junior is being really reasonable in his fears while the rest of the White House is delusional.
