{UAH} Why Bobi Wine ‘Dumped’ His Law Degree

People Power Principal and Presidential aspirant, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine prior to joining Parliament in 2017 enrolled as a Law student at the International University of East of Africa (IUEA). The Ghetto Gladiator had hoped to add on the Diploma of Music, Dance and Drama he attained from Makerere University. With the Bachelor of Laws, Bobi Wine was sure he'd be able to legislate at the August House from an informed point of view.

The pursuit for this Law degree would soon turn out to be tedious as the legislator failed to strike a balance between books, parliament and his personal string of businesses. He attributed his perpetual missing of lectures to the distance between his campus (Kansanga) to his area of operation (Kamwokya). As luck would have it, in 2018, Cavendish University opened a Law school [branch] in Kamwokya. Bobi Wine then quickly transferred his law degree studies from IUEA to Cavendish University. "The law school in Kamwokya was so convenient for me and thank God I was allowed to transfer my course because Kamwokya is my area of operation," Bobi Wine said in a press conference on Monday morning while clarifying on his academic qualifications.

The Kyadondo East Member of Parliament then revealed that, even with the proximity of the law school, he is unable to proceed with studies due to his tight working schedule- canvassing for votes. "I put my law degree on hold but I will resume when I have liberated our country from dictator Museveni," Bobi Wine explained his continued absence from law school.
