Two days ago I decided to go into a thread many Ugandans including the press have ignored for so many years, a thread of how we were deprived of products during the Iddi Amin’s time, for all containers heading into Uganda were halted in Kenya. Products imported into Uganda have for a very long time not been imported by Uganda Government, they are actually imported by Uganda business men/women, thus private entities doing international businesses to bring what we need for our life sustenance in the country. It is those that import sugar, salt, cloth, medication, and every thing else. During the 70’s one had to gain an import license then head to Bank of Uganda to get the foreign exchange required to import, you pay the local bank in Uganda shillings, then Bank of Uganda through the New York account pays in foreign exchange the amount required for your purchase, and the container gets loaded to Mombasa. Goods to Rwanda Congo or DRC as we know it today were also imported in the same way. Thus the notion that holding the containers coming to Uganda was to sabotage the Iddi Amin government was actually a holding of private money of private Ugandans, that had purchased those goods. Tens of thousands of Ugandans Rwandans and Congolese became victims of the Acholi political gimmick.

 

After the fall of Amin’s government, the Uganda National Liberation Front or UPC party if you prefer the facts, decided to unleash the trucks from Kenya into Uganda, those trailers rolled into Uganda from the day Uganda government fell, into Lule’s government, Binayisa’s government, the military commission government and throughout almost the entire Obote two government. All that time Uganda did not import anything, the country survived on containers that had been held into Kenya for years. Why is this information important? Because the UPC friends did not read the proforma invoices on any of those containers, they actually made a decision and looted all of them, those containers were never handed back to the original importers, Uganda government never got paid the income tax it required on all of them, they were literally stolen by the UPC party and sold or simply given to the population of Uganda for free. Many containers were sent directly to Kampala, as others were diverted through Soroti to Gulu and Lira and everything was handed out for free. This was one of the greatest loot that UPC party did in Uganda after the Amin fall, for those containers were paid mostly CIF to Mombasa or to Kampala. To all the business Ugandans Rwandans and Congolese that spent their private money to do those purchases lost every penny they invested. They did not have any one to complain to, and the Uganda press did not raise it, I think this is even the very first time this information is being made public of a major loot that UPC made to the Uganda population after the fall of Iddi Amin. I stand before you tonight to challenge any Ugandan that had a container that got held in Kenya that ever got it and the answer is going to remain zero.

 

In another writing way back I have already stated how these friends fell into Kampala and packed every weapon they found in the military, on trucks and handed it to Tanzania, all Tanks of all sizes, from all barracks, from all units, from all what have you, from the uniforms to the boots, to the bullets, to you name it, Uganda had a thoroughly mechanized battalions, from equipment carriers, to automatic bridges, to you name it. Uganda army at the time had vehicles that would roll up to a river, split up and become flat on the river so that APCs roll over the river to the other side, so they would automatically become a bridge and the APCs drive over, all those were packed by these friends and handed to Tanzania, in fact some of them were driven to Tanzania by the very same UPC and Acholi Coons. In the failing to protect our country, Uganda shilling note was rejected and a new note issued, where they declared that some serial numbers was stolen thus no longer regarded as legal tender, that money exchange was the most brutal exercise that I have ever witnessed in the country. To those that know Uganda, I was in Kayunga at the time, and we had only one exchange center, which was the Kayunga Cooperative bank. Imagine every one from Bbale to Galiraya to Mukono to use that one center. There was so much money into the Bbale axis than I have ever seen in my life, people were showing up with sacks of money literary, I saw a fella that decided to torch it all up, with Kerosine after lining for 5 straight days, and he said screw it I am torching it. Old people that never even knew how to check the serial numbers those were victims like no yesterday, friends the agony UPC dumped on Uganda, thank God the party expired from Uganda politics.

 

That is how UPC party has lived its life all along by looting from Ugandans, and by not protecting them, let alone their property. As I have stated all along, Mwiri education was very good, but it missed a great ingredient, of charity begins from home. To the Mwiiri graduates, Tanzania was greater than the state of Uganda, they protected the state of Tanzania by torching their own state,  our military hard ware was not worth for Uganda for Tanzania deserved it. The Uganda population that imported the containers did not deserve it and it was looted. The population that worked hard for their savings never deserved it for it had to be looted. Acholi and UPC have never been there for Ugandans, but to loot from Uganda to the none Ugandans. What has puzzled critical thinkers is that even in diaspora, that very same Mwiiri education ended up packing all of them and all of their children into the Democrats party. To this writing there is not a single known Acholi or a UPC member that is a Republican or supports Republican’s agenda, they are all in Democratic party or supporting the Democratic agenda.  Thus do not invest into United States but loot it as deep as you can. To these friends, Americans deserve nothing until when all Guatemalans have been taken care of, the bill that Donald refused to sign, was asking for 75 million dollars to pay for the Chinese women to have access to abortion clinics. Imagine Americans that borrow money from China to pay for abortion clinics in China. That is the thinking of Democrats a party that scooped all Acholi and all UPC members.

 

When they loot Uganda to dry they immigrate to United States to loot it to dry, and immigrate to Guatemala, thus they have no country they are responsible to build for themselves, when you look closely at Uganda in 2020 Northern and Eastern Uganda are still the poorest regions in the entire country. When they decide to build they build in Kampala.
