{UAH} Bobi Wine's party NUP wins all MP seats in Kampala except one

- Bobi Wine received an overwhelming number of votes in Kampala as he secured 324,463 votes to incumbent Yoweri Museveni's 105,385

- The NUP leader however, was still trailing Museveni in the national presidential election tally according to provisional results by the country's Electoral Commission

 - The musician turned politician had earlier rejected the results over alleged irregularities

Nakawa Division East constituency voted for NUP's Ronald Balimwezo who got 31,263 votes beating Michael Kabaziguruka of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), Ruhindi Frederick of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), Charles Ronny Keeno of the Democratic Party and a few independent aspirants.

In Western Nakawa, NUP's Joel Ssenyonyi won by a landslide by 31,653 votes. The NUP spokesperson floored Museveni's candidate Margret Zziwa Nantongo and independent candidate Kenneth Paul Kakande. Ssegonnyi who was a former NTV Uganda News anchor, received the highest number of votes in all polling stations within his constituency.

Other NUP aspirants who won their seats were loysious Mukasa (Rubaga Division South), Derrick Nyeko (Makindye Division East), Allan Ssewanyana (Makindye Division West), Mohammed Ssegirinya (Kawempe Division North) while Shamim Malende would represent the city's women.
