FACT: Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya is the largest referral hospital in East Africa with a bed capacity of 1,800, but hosts 3000 patients, employing over 6,000 staff.
It was founded in 1901 with a bed capacity of 40, making it the second oldest in East Africa.
