{UAH} FLASHBACK: On 24th February, 2016, five days after Museveni staged a coup

FLASHBACK: On 24th February, 2016, five days after Museveni staged a coup and placed Kizza Besigye under House arrest, Besigye through his lawyers David Mpanga and  Ernest Kalibbala petitioned court challenging House arrest as illegal.

Besigye remained under House arrest for three months until 11th May, 2016 when he was arrested and taken to Prison for another two months until 12th July, 2016.

The Court pronounced itself in December 2016, months saying preventive arrest is illegal. But the ruling was immaterial it was overtaken by events.

An earlier petition in the Constitutional Court by Besigye, filed in 2012 wasn't heard until October 2020 when court erroneously dismissed it and later reinstated it.

The are facts of post election events. Challenge them with alternative facts but not fabricated blackmail.

Once put under House arrest, it's not COMEDY. 

LESSON: Please understand Museveni is a real 🐆🐆🐆🐆 who never changes his spots.
