{UAH} Kyagulanyi goes to court over elections

John,

Who knows the future? Like former president Trump who was confident of the Supreme Court because he appointed 3 Justice's whom he thought would favour him if the matter ended in court, President Museveni can also be surprised when the justices deliver a ruling not to his liking.

It is wrong to assume that because in the last 3 times he was challenged, the Supreme Court ruled in his favour, so this time it also be the same.

Circumstances, times, levels of election malpractices, and the Supreme Court Justices are different.

All parties can be shocked at the outcome of the hearing.

i think it can achieve something . let it be on record. secondly the world would know the man never wins elections but courts legitimise him. thirdly, exposure of these  cadre judges is also important. it will lead to having them appointed by an independent commissiioion.irt seems the judges are working for museveni not uganda. it can expose the EC and their lying and stupidity in managing elections. how can one win 100 percent in 348 elections voting one candidate???

"Don't waste your time to go to the Museveni courts." Kizza Besigye advises Bobi Wine

The four time Presidential candidate has advised counterpart Hon Kyagulanyi not to waste time to go to the courts of law over his loss in the Presidential race saying that he will not get any justice there because the courts are controlled by Gen Museveni.

Kizza Besigye says that he has ever gone to those courts but the judges played around with the law to justify Museveni's win. He has therefore asked Kyagulanyi to think of using other means of taking power but not the courts.

"In the beginning, i had even told him not to go for the election but he insisted. The results you see are discussed results and Byakama just came to read what was discussed. It is good he saw what i had told him and perhaps he will take my advise this time." He added

Ever since Kyagulanyi won the NUP- Kibalama case, where petitioners had a strong case against him, I nolonger bet against him when it comes to litigations. He is either lucky or with deeper connections, or something in between.

Do you also remember the Mabilizi case-- challenging his age? Guess what? The state prosecutor took it over, and we havent heard anything since.

So, you never know, Kyagulanyi may get a different ruling from Besigye in 2006 and 2011, and Mbabazi in 2016. Tumusabile munafe!

Oh, before I forget,a few days ago, a lot of people had predicted that the army was gonna ignore a court ruling that ordered them to vacate Kyagulanyi's home. The predictions were being based on the 2016 events when the army refused to leave Besigye's house despite a court ruling. But it was the other way around this time: the army quietly folded their equipments and left Kyagulanyi's home immediately.
