{UAH} NUP Youth Brigades Planning Insurrection after Tomorrow’s Presidential Elections
Among them is 'Agenda Kifuba Ddembe' in Nansana, 2010 brigade in Mukono, 'Team Banyivu' youth brigade in Lubaga Division, 'Hard body' youth brigade in Kawempe Division, Team Jali in Nakawa Davison, Jua Kali youth brigade in Kiyindi Buikwe District among others with an aim of causing demonstration and chaos in the city and other respective districts.
"They have since hatched a plan to undermine the basic principles of democracy and justice by organizing a fake U-vote APP ahead of the 14th January 2020 general election".
"They plan to ferry youths to different polling stations on taxis to steal ballot boxes, bribe election officials to change results or facilitate multiple voting, some will be dressed in yellow T. shirts to pretend as NRM supporters and get to polling stations at rank with polling assistants or presiding officers so as to issue a lot of ballot papers, the other plan also involves utilizing chances when EC agents at the polling stations get a break or go to the toilets to rig the polls".
"They plan to stay near the polling stations in a hostile manner and scare away women, persons with disabilities, older persons who subscribe to NRM not to vote or vote their candidate, they will also stay around polling stations to cause chaos".
Security is on high alert following intelligence reports that National Unity Platform leader Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi and his Mistrata youth brigades are mobilizing goons to form a lethal militia with an aim of causing insurrection.
According to a highly placed security source, the group has come up with a mobilization strategy code named Magic 16 program, composed of 16 criminal youth brigades country wide.
