The Unity in Diversity isn't a Electoral platform. It's a struggle platform.

The initiative or platform led by Elder Paul Kawanga Ssemwogerere has a very clear objective and mission that goes far beyond electioneering and winning elective positions in an exercise that is neither Free nor Fair.

The Unity in Diversity initiative inst even about one joint  candidate against Museveni, because even if the joint candidate was God under the current circumstances imposed on us by Museveni NRMilitary junta, Museveni would rig God's win.

It is that bad. And is it's urgent to unite people (in this case candidates) to understand that a campaign message (Manifesto) is not enough against Museveni. You need to unite to fight Museveni and his guns.

I am sure by now, we all know Museveni campaigned while opponents were being fought by the Police and Military, teargassed, arrested and charged.

FDC Presidential Candidate Patrick Oboi Amuriat was arrested 13 times and charged in court three times. POA was teargassed in every district he went to except on Katakwi and on Christmas.

NUP candidate Robert Kyagulanyi was arrested three times and charged in court once.

ANT candidate Gen. Mugisha Muntu and Renewed Uganda Principal Gen. Henry Tumukunde were blocked from campaigning in many places like all others.

Therefore, the UID initiative not about elections any more, because the candidates, more than the supporters understand that they didn't campaign anywhere in Uganda except Museveni.

So, the Unity in Diversity initiative is simply to forge a common and uniform front for the struggle outside elections.

The architects of Unity in Diversity ie the Leader Mzee Paul and candidates understand that Museveni and his Electoral Commission already rigged the election.

Museveni is not deploying the Military to be defeated and concede defeat.

Like 2016, where he carried out a coup, he has already conducted another coup in 2021.

The UID is therefore to advance and farther the struggle.

Hold each other hand by hand and fight on. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Understand it, appreciate and critic it from an informed point of view.
