{UAH} WHY M7 THINKS TUMUKUNDE WANTS TO ‘STEAL’ HIS VOTE

 Recently, a group of two youthful Ministers sought and obtained appointment to meet President YKT Museveni. "I'm told by my people that you wanted to see me very urgently. What is the matter?" Museveni reportedly said at the start of the meeting. The two Ministers, a male and female, cleared their throats with the male signaling the female to put the issues on table.

"Your Excellence we are doing all we can to make sure you win this election with not less than 75% but we are being let down by 5^th columnists in the party structures in the districts and sub counties who have been infiltrated by our former cabinet colleague Gen Henry Tumukunde. He is using a lot of money and many of our people are falling for it especially since you haven't released as much money for this campaign as they expected. To such cadres, as you know, election time is eating time and they are sad the campaign period is ending without them eating anything," the female Minister told an attentively listening Museveni.

The male Minister also moved to make his case wildly telling H.E. the President how the Tumukunde money had also been used to recruit saboteurs among the EC officials at the district level. "They have been recruited and this is something even Justice Byabakama hasn't yet become aware of. The idea is to alter your DR Forms at the district level so that your win is distorted and altered to favor Gen Tumukunde," the male Minister told a stone-faced Museveni adding that Gen Tumukunde, as a former insider, has used his clandestine mobilization network, aided by financially deprived insiders who are disgruntled, to concentrate his strategy and efforts at upstaging Gen Museveni and overwhelming him out of power come Thursday 14^th January.

A heavily-breathing Gen Museveni turned to face the two youthful Ministers and asked them "what do you think we can do?" He also thanked them for the information which he said he was hearing for the first time. "How come nobody even in intelligence has brought this to my attention?" Gen Museveni asked prompting one of the Ministers to say "they are working with him [Tumukunde]." The two youthful Ministers, whose Tumukunde threat some in intelligence say has deliberately been exaggerated just for the two politicians to increase their relevancy to the President regarding the 2021 equation, suggested to be facilitated with several billions to use their countrywide networks to counter Gen Tumukunde's plan.

A memo was quickly prepared for Gen Museveni to direct the release of several billions to the two youthful ministers to begin the demobilization work. During the same meeting of the trio, Museveni and the two Ministers, it was agreed that the man from Rwakitura commences whistleblowing by speaking out on this publicly so as to cow the district-level-based EC officials claimed to be part of the Tumukunde plot. And that is how Gen Museveni started bashing the EC claiming he knows how they are working with some opposition elements to steal his vote.

Whereas leading political analyst Semujju Nganda says these Museveni outbursts are meant to cow Byabakama not to dare consider declaring any other Presidential winner other than Gen Museveni, some leaders in the intelligence services have insisted that State House shouldn't be nervous for nothing because there is simply no such ploy by Gen Tumukunde.
