{UAH} I SEE KB IN BOBI - Stella Nyanzi

Verse 1)

I first followed KB in the liberation struggle,

When he promised us to walk with swagger 

In the new liberated Uganda free of Museveni.

Bobi also called us to kugooma along with him:

To bend the back and bounce the foot-soles

As we wear shiny crowns in the new Uganda.

For me, I am still practising KB's swagger

And I mix it with Bobi's okugooma

As I desperately wait for the new Uganda.

Verse 2)

KB petitioned court twice against Museveni's 

stealing of the presidential election.

Court cheated Ugandans twice in these petitions.

And KB swore never to return to court with another election petition.

Bobi also petitioned court against Museveni's stealing of the recent presidential election.

He thought KB didn't know what he was talking about when he chose not to petition court again.

And then Bobi withdrew his petition.

For me, I am still practising the word amicus curae

And I am still reading reasons for Bobi's withdrawal

As I desperately long for a new Uganda.

Since these two are so similar

Why don't they unite in liberation strategy?

One can teach us to walk with swagger

As the other teaches us to kugooma!

Imagine freedom fighters who walk with both swagger and kugooma in each step?
