{UAH} Numberless Drones: Some Number Plates Are Very Small, They Usually Fall Off Along The Highway – Traffic Police Chief Niwabiine Explains About Drones Kidnapping Ugandans…

Most of the numberless Toyota Hiace aka Drone vans that are being used by armed security officers to abduct Ugandans don't belong to the Police, the Acting Director of Traffic, Lawrence Niwabiine has revealed, noting that many of their number plates drop off as they are being driven.

While addressing journalists at the Police headquarters, Naguru, today, Nuwabiine said that some of the number plates for these Drones usually drops off during transportation as they are being driven to the bonds, which explains the recent trend of numberless vehicles being driven on Uganda's road and being used to abduct Ugandans.

He explained that when these drone vans reach the city centre, they are taken to different bonds, then people think they are security vehicles yet they are units imported into this country, noting that the law strictly doesn't allow a person to drive a numberless vehicle.

He said, "Many of these vehicles are new and when they are being imported, they come with very small number plates fixed in front and sometimes they are fixed on the behind part. At times those small plates fall off and you see them on the highway."

When journalists insisted on expressing that there is a massive public outcry over the number of arrests and kidnaps carried out by people driving in such vehicles and their victims are detained in unknown places, Nuwabiine refuted allegations, saying that it is not true that the Drone vehicles are used by security, insisting that most of them come from car bonds.
