VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT SAFE SPACE UGANDA ( 5 positions)
Safe space Uganda (SASU) is a Uganda based Youth-focused not-for-profit non-government organization. SASU is involved in programs that promote Youth participation in Environment Protection & Climate Change mitigation, Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights advocacy, East Africa Community Integration and run Youth Economic Empowerment programs.
What are volunteers for?
These will provide support and contribute towards Designing and drafting Youth training manual for our thematic areas - Environment Protection &Climate Change, Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights, East Africa Community Integration and Youth Economic Empowerment.
Duty station: Kampala
Duration: 1 month
What skills should an ideal volunteer have?
Understanding of any one or two of our thematic areas
At least a bachelor's Degree
Good working knowledge of MS Word.
Can speak and write English
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Good team player
Good planning and organizational skills
Personal competencies: Managing work including time, learning, innovation and continuous improvement.
