{UAH} Was Donald Trump’s job of president too much for him?

Former Senior Consultant Global Digital Twin Technology at Www.ecodomus.com (2015–2020)

This is a serious question. Donald Trump is the most self-confident President in the history of the USA. As far as he is concerned, he could do a better job in 15 minutes than most people even if they work all day.

Tweeting, the only thing Trump loved.

He didn't have or want to read anything. If he didn't like someone, he didn't listen. If he was not interested in a subject, he did not listen. Conversely, if he did like a subject, like NFL players kneeling in protest, he would spend hours frantically putting out tweets castigating them, putting pressure on owners, calling in to Fox or Rush Limbaugh ranting and saying to 'fire them'.

To Donald Trump right to the end of his ill fated presidency, and trust me there will never be another term no matter what happens at his 2nd impeachment, he felt he was doing a great job.

As a confirmed, committed narcissist if it wasn't about him or to his advantage, he simply lied about it or ignored it or both.

The pandemic was real and difficult, so he tried for a few weeks, made some crazy statements and then just quit one day and that was that. Everyone on their own, die or not, no big deal, he had the best doctors so he was safe and that was all he cared about.

He obviously didn't care about his family as they all had to stand next to him while he got covid and everyone around him got covid. For Trump, family are as expendable as all of us, as all americans and especially as the rest of the world.

Just there to be used.

So was the job too much for him. Of course, but he didn't do the job, he did whatever he wanted to do and he could do that all day, all night and then play golf.

He called tweeting "working," banging away crazy things he would have to change hours later. Then play golf as he did for 330 days or almost one full year of his 4 years as president.

I am positive he feels he was the hardest working president in history. Tweet after tweet, then rides on Airforce1, then rallies where he would speak for 1 or 2 hours. Then back on the plane, more tweets, more tv, always tv, then call Fox and on and on it went.

Off the plane and spar with reporters, tell them they are idiots and fake news. My personal belief is he had a great time.

Along the way 410,000 died of covid, the economy is a shambles, around 30 million Americans or approximately 10% of the population has had covid and the long term health effects will be there for 20 or 30 years.

The USA has lost its preeminent position in the world, China has finally caught the USA and will pass it. No reshoring was accomplished, just a stock market boom fueled by a tax cut for corporations and the rich.

To be overwhelmed you have to accept the responsibilities of the job including reading briefings which he apparently never did. You have to negotiate between parties, not just Israel with Israel and forget the Palestinians. You have to actually develop a health care plan not just lie for 4 years and never have one.

I will put it to you bluntly. I know a few rich guys, they loved Trump as they made a ton of money. I know a lot of middle class and poor people who did not do well and that all voted for Trump.

Judges, abortion, cut regulations, more 2nd amendment and guns and white supremacy.

That's it, not hard to figure out. Why 74 million voted for the biggest liar and grifter in history, that is much harder to figure out and they can lie to themselves all they want, but history will show they were just fools to be used by Trump who in reality worked less than a couple of hours on average a day.
