{UAH} WHY ARE UGANDANS SO VIOLENT TO EACH OTHER?

 Police in Rubanda district are investigating the death of a 31-year-old woman who was allegedly murdered and stealthily buried by her husband.

Elly Maate, the Kigezi regional police spokesperson identifies the deceased as Alibina Tusimomwe of Kitari cell, Ruhija Sub County in Rubanda district.

Her body was discovered by locals after it was buried in the night of Tuesday this week.

Police and locals suspect that the woman was killed and buried by her husband, Dismus Muhumuza who is currently on the run.



The husband had for long suspected the deceased to be having an affair with his cousin brother, one Viani Turyahebwa.

Muhumuza earlier on Tuesday morning reportedly attacked and hacked his cousin, and a case of attempted murder was recorded at Ruhija police post.

Turyahebwa was rushed to Kabale hospital where he is nursing wounds.

Thereafter, the locals launched a hunt for Muhumuza until they landed on the grave where the wife was buried and another empty one on the side where he intended to bury Turyahebwa.

In retaliation, the angry residents when to burnt down five houses of Muhumuza's brothers and his father who had fled the area.
