BASTARDIZATION OF THE STRUGGLE:

A decade ago Bobi Wine produced a song called kiwaani. Amooti Omubalanguzi featured in the video where he faked death so as to collect condolence fee from unsuspecting mourners. The trick worked and money was gotten. After spending all the money, Amooti and the wife had to make a second attempt and fleece money once more. However, the death faker died real death this time round.

A few days ago, NUP sympathisers led by their principal announced the death of counsellor-elect James Mubiru. A vigil was henceforth organised. Yesterday, Mubiru surfaced. He was arraigned in court martial accused of being in possession of military-like attire. The NUP apologists in an attempt to bastardize the struggle refered to the vigil  as a trick. That it is the robadoba style that was used to expose the junta and force them vomit Mubiru.

Well, to me, this is a wrong strategy. The junta is not about to stop kidnapping civilians. Somebody will be kidnapped and killed but nobody will take you serious when you sound an alarm. Not even the vigil for the deceased will bring any attention. People will think it's the usual kiwaani.
