{UAH} In case you come across this word or name, know that it is another name for South Africa

I have silently been watching all manners of tv programs from almost 5,000 global live channels - including some 6 from Kagutastan - on my Android tv boxes with one being the source of my silence. A group of about 50 channels all begin with the same word or name. Some following names were obvious - eg, the word then Cape Town, the word then Soweto etc. making me conclude they were from Mandela Country.

So I asked the family Deputy Head of House - wife, that is - after almost a year of pretending to know what it meant because she is fluent in all SA languages except Afrikaans - the Boer language. Happens that the word is of Mandela origin - Xhosa.

She answered that the word is another name for South Africa. 

Word was Mzansi. Told me it is common for SA's neighbors like them Botswana Khoi-Khoi to say they are going to Mzansi - and that is South Africa - or a South Africans he/she is a Mzansi 

As usual I cross checked with my dear uncle Mze. Google and sure enough he gently said Mzansi " is an informal name for South Africa".

Too late. I had already embarrassed myself asking my deputy before consulting my vocabulary-loaded dear uncle.

Just my usual weird interruptions BUT it helps in case you end up the only fool in a gathering who wouldn't know what Mzansi means.
