{UAH} IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHILDREN FROM ‘WEDDED’ COUPLES AND THOSE COUPLES WHO DID NOT GET MARRIED?

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHILDREN FROM 'WEDDED' COUPLES AND THOSE COUPLES WHO DID NOT GET MARRIED?
No, there is no difference between children whose parents are married and those who are not. The Child laws in Uganda cover all children irrespective of whether they were born while their parents were married or not.
They are entitled to the same rights under the law like school fees, medical care, shelter, food and even inheritance of the parent's property when the parent dies. No child should be discriminated against based on their parents' marital status.
