Iam so angry and frustrated .

I got a loan from platinum credit uganda to cover medical bills  to be paid within 12months and used my vehicles as security and signed twelve cheques  to be the means of payement for the loan duration

Along the way i was called by platinum and told my cheques could not be found  but they were looking for them and since i was aware of the loan i suggested i do an EFT  as  they look for them to avoid months piling up on me  ....i did that for over seven months while patiently waiting for them to recover my lost 12cheques.So   in july  7months later  i was told that i should credit my account as my cheque for that month would be banked and therefore no EFT as its not company policy to which i agreed and put cash on my account and waited ....

About two weeks later i was sent two gentlemen by platinum credit  saying they were court baliffs to take my car i asked for documentation or identification and they had none after pleading with then to allow the tracking system reinstall fuel to my car i drove to platinum head office for explanation  and thats where i was told they i had defaulted that month even after they had told me they would bank  the cheques and i furnished my account to facilitate the transaction...

They asked me for 4 cheque leafs for the remaining months  to which i refused and instead gave them an instant RTGS to save time as it was a working day and secondly could not give them extra cheques with no accountabilty for the lost 12 I quicky showed them the payement message on my phone and ran downstairs to rush to work only to find my cars missing with my stuff inside meanwhile all this time i was seated 2minutes  away in their office with my keys while they towed away my car from their parking lot without my knowledge....

Went back upstairs and asked where my cars were or atleast  to be given me my laptop and i rush to work  ..

 I was more shocked than angry when asked to pay baliff and towing fees instantly amounting to 1.3m or they dont give me my cars...i tried even bargaining but they were very adamant saying it is an outsourced company and fees are fixed i asked to pick items from my car and they refused saying i had to give them 1.3m there and then...can u imagine!!!! ...asking for baliff company bank account so as to see how i collect some  money and pay in installements  they gave me platinum credit account..thats when i realised something was fishy😏 ...while at the reception a number of pple came in with similar complaints and a lady who came with her lawyers had her non negotiable fees waived can u imagine🤔

Long story short i was tossed around for two weeks as i asked to see my car and pick up personal possesions from it ...after alot of screaming and telling them i was to lose my job if i dont have my ID and laptop they directed  me to kireka where they have a make shift parking that is half fenced where my car had been dumped it could not start as its computer system had shut down and the passenger door had been tampered with and broken and could nolonger open plus my laptop bag and its contents missing...they have since refused to pay for any damages to the car which needed reprogramming as well as replace my lost property ..after going to police they gave me the car and added the 1.3m to my loan......am literally dying coz of car mechanical expenses and losses i made as i had to refund clients  who had hired it out during that time (yes its thise cars hired out for  music vedios and weddings )l had to hire a car for my two babies to and from school....fell off a boda during that time with my six month old belly, made daily trips to platinum for over 2weeks ...yessss 2weeks as they kept me waiting at their reception for hours and tossing me from one non descision maker to another yet they could clearly see  i was not in the best medical state at that time.....mean while all this time my account is not in arrears but are insisting i first pay 1.3million uganda shillings cash ...am soo frustrated and angry   and they are being very arrogant as one of the bosses told me to do what i want when i asked for a way foward.....

Tried getting legal but they schedule meetings where they promise to turn up  and they dont..these pple have no regard for my time at allll😣  apart from sending their legal person who told me to proceed to court as they are not willing to pay since there is no proof of any of my claim so it's me against this selfish arrogant company that clearly had their staff tell me to go ahead and do what I want even if it means going to the courts of law.
