Museveni's 1986 liberation a sham and proliferation of tyranny

The army taking over kidnap and inhuman torture of Ugandans attached to the opposition is a clear signal that the rest of the time Gen Museveni will spend at the helm of the country's leadership will be a crude caricature of Idi Amin Dada's rule of 1971-1979.
Any sane Ugandan, whether a direct beneficiary of the Museveni patronage or not, must publicly regard with extreme repugnance such arbitrary acts the UPDF/SFC are currently imposing onto Ugandans.
The law is very clear - the whole of chapter four of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda 1995 as amended- is dedicated to protection, promotion of fundamental and other human rights and civil liberties. Unless the commander in chief and his loyal sub-commanders of the security have their own laws or are reading the constitution upside down.

Judging what is going on presently or what has been going on for a while, corroborates with indisputable evidence that there is absolutely no rule of law in Uganda, and that the 1981-1986 liberation was a sham.
If rule of law means arbitrary acts of kidnap, forced disappearance and torture when we have fully functioning courts of law to adjudicate on issues concerning those who break the law, then we must be copying and pasting a stilted brand of democracy only applicable in Uganda and other parts of Africa.
Rule of law being an ingredient of democracy, absence of the former is an indisputable indication that we are enjoying a Musevenocracy- a Ugandan brand of democracy invented in 1986 by yours truly the Jaja of the nation who liberated us from tyranny and invented his own tyranny.
Rule of law, just like democracy, has its ingredients and absence of one ingredient is like salt missing in the sauce. Firstly; citizens shouldn't be discriminated against because of their political belonging, but oftentimes the president and his right-hand people have spewed unfortunate comments in the media which have brought the office of the president into hatred, ridicule, contempt and disrepute.
During the Tarehe Sita celebrations, he said that those who do not support the NRM will not be supported by the government. Secondly, there must be absence of arbitrary rules or suffice it to say that law shouldn't be taken into one's hands.
The evidence to this is overwhelming of how the security forces act outside the confines of the law but the elders in government instead of having shame at such offence against the law, instead glorify violence.
Thirdly, rule of law calls for equal application of the law regardless of whether you are a government stooge or belonging to the other side of the opposition. Belonging to the opposition in Uganda seems like belonging to the other side of the wretched world.
We saw all how NRM politicians held processions and huge rallies with police protection but on the opposition side, a mere intention to pass through a town calls for the same police and the army to deploy guns and teargas as though we are in the war.
Lastly, rule of law calls for enjoyment of inherent rights without undue limitation by the state. Using violence, kidnap, forced disappearance and torture to punish people for simply expressing themselves is absolutely an indication that Museveni can never dialogue with anyone, but instead will always unleash state terror against those who dissent with him intellectually, constitutionally and peacefully.
With these vagaries and fluctuations making up Gen Museveni's administration since he captured power, it is foolhardy to credit him for catapulting the past tyrannies when he himself has introduced his own form of tyranny which he thinks is okay but a total offence against the established supreme law which we are all supposed to be subservient to.
