{UAH} [New post] A bus during Amin’s regime in 1970s
Double decker buses were taken off the streets soon after Idi Amin came to power because
of the fear of accidents associated with them.
Besides they were mainly Kampala based.
Making statements of this magnitude is very misleading.
Remember, there are 4 stories we should all be wary of namely:1) Second hand stories as evidenced
by Adam and Eve's statement to God who told them they were naked?
2) Self centred stories which is more about the teller not the message that should be communicated.
3)Selective stories just like this one attributing whatever happened in the 1970s to Idi Amin, just like many
associate the expulsion of Asians to his policy when the repatriation of those Indians who never wanted to
become Ugandans started way back in 1968 and was to end in 1978 just because those leaving the sectors
where they worked needed to be replaced by trained Ugandans. We suffered the effects of the so called economic
war because Amin never knew anything about logistics and supply chain management.
Those Ugandans domiciled in Canada should be aware of the hiccups the COVID vaccination program in Canada
faces because they receive the vaccines from other countries.
lastly 4)short stories which leaves a lot of holes in the whole story making it easdily corrupted.
