"The opposition should be humble if they want power from Museveni." Pastor #Solomon_Male

The Executive director of Arising For Christ Uganda while appearing before the media yesterday said that the opposition should act in a humble way if they are to tempt Museveni to surrender power to them.

According to Pastor Male, the opposition is hitting a dead end by trying to report Museveni to the ICC and Human Rights organizations because these are the things that make him cling on to power the more.

"Every one wants a soft landing. Even if it was me, I cannot surrender power to People who want to see me locked up.  in prison or lose my wealth. The opposition is making a huge mistake to use such channels because these make Museveni to find more reasons to cling onto power." He said

Male added that if need be, the constitution should be amended to give immunity to former heads of state so that they are given the protection with no criminal charges put on them. He says this will tempt Museveni and other future leaders to leave power with out the fear of anything bad happening to them.

Male also used the opportunity to say that he will not support any one who will use unconstitutional means to take power because this country has suffered so much in the past because of leaders who come to power by force. He added that Bobi Wine is a very good friend of his but will not support him if he tries to use unconstitutional means to take power
