Yoswa, Caution taken my brother but that's a gray  area many men can venture in. We had one young native doctor who married 6 wives within a period of 2 years. If he continued in the same rate or so,he might have more than 50 wives by now.

Peter, sounds a good caution but can be selfish. MP wife adds status and also has her plans.

Annet, there must be something good in him, so it would be worth"discovering," if other guys weren't interested in spending the rest of their remaining years with you.

Robert, not a good proposal, it would affect your mentor who has invested interest in her, instead  just discourage  her from trying.

I have many of them pretending to hide in the name of religion and modernization with only one wife. Gentlemen, let us come out like our brother Otema.

I think General Otema can be voted  king (Rwot) of Acholi, he has much support especially from the women and in-laws!

Think about it, there are men who have only one wife but have concubines in every slum or towns where they pass or stay doing business. 

For example if the guy is from Soroti, he has women in towns along the way to Kampala - Kumi, Mbale, Iganga, Jinja, Lugazi, Mukono and several in Kampala slums -Wabigalo, Makerere Kivulu and Kawempe.

Why pretend to be good with one wife when your appetite is boundless?  I like honest men like General Otema!

Top UPDF and commander of the reserve forces Lt Gen Charles Otema Awany has married his 13th wife .

The ceremony took place on Saturday.

Otema married Lamwo County MP Catherine Lwamwaka as 9 of his 12 other wives were in attendance.

Others who attended the marriage ceremony included Gen Caleb Akandwanaho alias Salim Saleh, among other top army leaders.

Otema's marriage to the 13th wife comes at a time when the ration of women to men is increasingly becoming high.
