 The endless list of recent meaningless slogans is a mockery for many who threw around these slogans with such enthusiasm. I am sure one can find many other hollow slogans if one looked far back enough. 

We are removing a dictator!"

"Tugenda Entebbe mu ntebbe!"

"Bikwaase Kyagulanyi!"

"Ffuna bufunyi endaga muntu..."

"Eno robadoba style emutwaala!"

"Agenda agenda agenda!"

"I am a judge of the public court!"

"Emeeri ezze, kiwedde!"

"Buli wolaba ambuleela tiikinga..."

"People Power - Our Power!"

At some point all NUP's hope was vested in an American ship at Mombasa port

But alas, the slogans are no more! They seem to have disappeared into oblivion. The slogans evaporated. The sloganeers are now saying "Bring back our comrades!" "Stop killing us!" "Drone jilabe, dduka!"

And so, I look forward to analysing how the political hype and sloganeering that energised many of us faded so fast. Stop saying "Ekyo ki Stella Nyanzi tekilina kyekitugamba!"
