{UAH} EU SANCTIONS AGAINST UGANDA SOON?

I think it is not worth ignoring that 24 Members of the European Parliament led by Hon. Jan-Christoph Oetjen and Hon. Nicole Stefanuta, have yesterday served a public letter to EU High Representative His Excellency Joseph Borrel, requesting swift action and a unified stance against Uganda by the EU, in condemnation of "the deteriorating human rights situation in the country, including abductions, murder, torture, dissapearances and the stifling of freedom of speech and freedom of assembly". The concerned MEP's are ostensibly calling for sanctions against Ugandan human rights violators in accordance with the Magnitsky act, a law that permits the EU to sanction human rights abusers and stop injustice and impunity.
