{UAH} HISTORY: "ZIONISM IS RACISM" - UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY (1975).
Allow me to start by making an observation. Some people in Africa are praying for their own salvation from human rights abuses in their own countries by their own tyrants, yet frantically supporting endless and heinous human rights abuses against the Palestinian people. What would you do if you were God, and seeing you down there on earth playing this two-faced game in regards to human rights?
No wonder he let's many continue suffering until the day you realize your own confusion, bigotry and inconsistencies. Let us first agree with Dr. Martin Luther King who basically said an abuse anywhere, is an abuse everywhere! And therefore condemn violations in total disregard of skin color, religion, or political affiliation of the victim.
Let us also agree that when a race or ethnic group declares itself as "the Children of God", what supremacism and discrimination does that entail against everyone else, even if a sizeable section of humanity willingly agree to be inferior to the so-called "Chosen Ones", not knowing that they have themselves been chosen to be here today together with everyone else, yet still agreeing to be inferior despite us all living in a world that ever since the horrors of World War II, we have all said an emphatic "No" together to any form of supremacism, and all humanity thus agreed to a Universal Declaration which clearly stipulates that all humankind is created equal?
Just like slavery was once defended as being prescribed in religious scripture, yet was abolished due to its obvious cruelty as a heinous Crime against Humanity, yet for centuries it's perpetrators felt no discomfort or remorse at the obvious suffering, mistreatment and injustice against thise they called slaves, the effects of racial, ethnic and religious supremacism cannot be part of any values of a society that claims to be democratic, tolerant, inclusive, with free speech in the 21st century.
It is under Apartheid where there is democracy, freed, and privilege for one clearly identified section of society which, through brutal laws and savage repression, imposes seclusion, discrimination and deprivation on indeginous populations.
This sectarianism and the resulting discrimination has led to so much human suffering through the centuries around the world, including during the infamous inquisition that took place all over Europe in the dark ages particularly antisemitism against Jews, and others who disagreed with the established religious dogma's of the Catholic Church back then. And today the same supremacist mindset has led to ethnic cleansing and ostensibly genocide in several countries, from Europe to Yugoslavia, Rwanda and against the Palestinian people since 1948, simply because of the victims ethnic belonging, and/or their religion, plus a unilateral religious claim to a land others who practice other faiths without that claim were living therein peacefully, and thus find one faiths declarations being brutally imposed on them through destruction of their homes and their livelihoods. That is flagrant despotism, and we should all know better!
Meanwhile, in the picture here, I am reading the 1975 UN Resolution 3379 "On The Elimination Of All Forms Of Discrimination", which declared Israeli Zionism as racism. Here is the full text:
"The General Assembly recalling its resolution 1904 (XVIII) of 20 November 1963, proclaiming the United Nations Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, and in particular its affirmation that "any doctrine of racial differentiation or superiority is scientifically false, morally condemnable, socially unjust and dangerous" and its expression of alarm at "the manifestations of racial discrimination still in evidence in some areas in the world, some of which are imposed by certain Governments by means of legislative, administrative or other measures",
Recalling also that, in its resolution 3151 G (XXVIII) of 14 December 1973, the General Assembly condemned, inter alia, the unholy alliance between South African racism and Israeli zionism,
Taking note of the Declaration of Mexico on the Equality of Women and Their Contribution to Development and Peace 1975, proclaimed by the World Conference of the International Women's Year, held at Mexico City from 19 June to 2 July 1975, which promulgated the principle that "international co-operation and peace require the achievement of national liberation and independence, the elimination of colonialism and neo-colonialism, foreign occupation, zionism, apartheid and racial discrimination in all its forms, as well as the recognition of the dignity of peoples and their right to self-determination",
Taking note also of resolution 77 (XII) adopted by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of African Unity at its twelfth ordinary session, held in Kampala, Uganda from 28 July to 1 August 1975, which considered "that the racist regime in occupied Palestine and the racist regime in Zimbabwe and South Africa have a common imperialist origin, forming a whole and having the same racist structure and being organically linked in their policy aimed at repression of the dignity and integrity of the human being",
Taking note also of the Political Declaration and Strategy to Strengthen International Peace and Security and to Intensify Solidarity and Mutual Assistance among Non-Aligned Countries, adopted at the Conference of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Non-Aligned Countries held at Lima from 25 to 30 August 1975, which most severely condemned zionism as a threat to world peace and security and called upon all countries to oppose this racist and imperialist ideology,
The United Nations General Assembly hereby determines that Zionism is a form of racism."
Many who are reading this UN resolution for the first time, especially todays liberal-minded generation around the world, including all those who declare that all lives matter, would want to support anything that builds inclusiveness rather than exclusiveness. This Resolution 3379 was fought tooth and nail by the most advanced democratic countries on this planet who claim to uphold the torch of equality. They fought relentlessly for over two decades, and thus rather than strive for equality of man (especially in the Israeli-Palestinian theatre), they guaranteed the defacto retention of the supremacist identity of one over the other, the erasing of any notion of a Palestinian struggle for freedom and self determination, and the concealment of the ulterior hidden bigotry behind policies against the Palestinian people, therefore supporting materially, financially and ideologically, the acts of war crimes, discrimination, hate crimes, mass tyrrany plus, as stated by Human Rights Watch recently, the creation and firm establishment, in broad daylight, of the Apartheid State of Israel.
