{UAH} If there was no COVID-19 in 2020, would Trump have won the election?

A happy Republican and believer in democracy

Every Democrat and believer in democracy around the world all knew that Trump was going to win in 2020 before the pandemic. All key indicators were in his favor and he ABSOLUTELY CONTROLLED THE PRESS THE NARRATIVE AND NO DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE HAD ANYTHING TO FIGHT AGAINST HIM.

Yeh go Donald go, without your yelling and lying there is no way a Democrat could have won

They were all and continue to be a joke. We are talking Donald Trump the world's greatest conman and there was nothing anyone could do about it.

Then the pandemic came and Democrats hunkered down for the biggest beat down since Reagan. They could feel it coming as all Trump had to do was get in front of the pandemic, be even minimally presidential, say I am in control, stand up and say let the science prevail and he would have cruised to victory. AMERICANS HAVE NEVER EVER REJECTED THEIR LEADER IN A WAR NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY DISLIKED THEM SO TRUMP WAS ON A GLIDE PATH TO AN HISTORIC WIN.

Put on a mask, do a lock down, cut off the world, but don't let up and make sure the politics all went his way but totally inexplicably like mana from heaven, he REVERTED TO BE WHO HE ALWAYS HAS BEEN: A CON MAN!

He lied but over and over. Melt down after melt down. The media always hovered over him but now it wasn't scandals, it was people dying and more and more and more. Around the world others were doing so well and the US had more dying and Trump lying and you could see an opening for Democrats.

Then BLM caught fire and Trump smashed them to turn off more suburban voters and more importantly to terrify and energize black and brown voters. As the months wore on a glimmer of hope emerged for the Democrats and steady Joe Biden was selected by Jim Clyburn to run and he simply waited for Trump to implode. Biden did all the right stuff, selected Kamala Harris, wore masks, didn't argue with Trump, looked presidential and at the debates Trump did his historic meltdown and Biden told him to shut up. Then Trump got COVID his rallies took off but Dems came out in droves and used the GOP mail in ballots to their advantage.

Finally Trump pushed Barrett over the line and the last of the I have to vote for Trump reasons fell away to allow Biden to squeak over the line as the guy you can trust to end this madness.

And he has.

Lesson of this story. Don't let the narcissstic grifter run your pandemic. He is good for the easy times and arguing with China or picking on NATO or pulling out of global orgs; WHO, Paris Climate Accords, Iran deal, TPP but absolute crap at doing a day job especially in a pandemic when it cannot always be about you, you have to be able to empathize and he just couldn't do it. His hatred came out and eventually he threw away the greatest easiest 2nd term victory in history.

It was stunning, we all sat there and realized, he is actually doing this. He is grabbing his base but he is totally pissing off the rest of the country and while we couldn't understand why, at least enough Democrats and Independents got it that this was a once in a lifetime opening to strike back to possibly win. Even the ding dong lying polls showed it was possible and then.

It was and despite even more craziness and stolen election claims, it happened. Donald Trump was vanquished, unprecedented in US history, he absolutely destroyed himself and then did 3 months of meltdowns after that including fomenting an insurrection. But in the end he picked up his toy girl and retired to Florida like all bratty rich guys seem to do.

So Trump handed it to the Democrats and finished off the year by giving the Senate to them too with the 2 gift Senate seats in Georgia.

Thanks Donald, you made up for all your craziness and now you are destroying the Republican party on top of that. And to think we hated you because you took down HRC along with your Russian friends and Comey and her absolute arrogance and inability to connect to just about anyone.

My bad, just keep doin what you are doin. Meanwhile Biden is trying to fix the past 40 years with almost no majority but without your insanity, he wouldn't be there and the USA would not be enacting legislation without the majorities you gave them in spite of the Progressives doing their best to undermine their own party.

You won Donald and please just keep goin for a while longer, as always so so so entertaining. America needs you to keep reminding them of what craziness did to the country and to never let it happen again.
