{UAH} Copied: What do you think, Mr.Mulindwa?

Mwami Semuwemba

I will sum all that in your list with one sentence, Ugandans need to learn to live with each other. If you add all those requirements what Ugandans actually need is to learn to live with each other. I said that I am one of the people that started the Uganda society in this city, good Lord how many Ugandans do you know that came in the 70's? Very very few and many have either self-isolated or have passed away. I think we had the blessing of Mwami Kasasa in Hamilton and he passed away, by the way he passed away when I was in Uganda too, I never buried the old man. But I found his son in Uganda, a son he had never seen and he died without seeing him, I sat with him and we had a lunch. What a blessing it was.  Apart from him not much was here. Thus the community was built on myself, the Wanzama Piro's, the Sonko, Male, Mbalire and a couple of old fellas, all the  rest of crap you see screaming in this forum have actually showed up after.

This country has a very good court system but for that system to function it needs an organized society, thus if you walk to a court today and claim that this Ugandan was in Luwero and committed crimes to people, a prosecutor will listen but he will throw out that case, you will be lucky to see a judge, for you are an individual. What we refused to do in this city and country, is to drag our fellow Ugandans to Canadian courts of law based on what they did in Uganda. We invested into learning to live with each other. It was tough and it is hard, but the pain we had in our souls matched us to what we have today, and it is great. When you arrest a fellow Ugandan and take him to court you do not only take him, you drag his enter family, his children and wife and what have you, I did not see myself going into that drama.

And that is what made the Dr Muniini Mulera's mission very complex, for he was a medical doctor, he was in very good books with the Movement, and he was working as an advisor to the Federal Government of Canada on immigration from Uganda. And his agenda was to deport any one that held a UPC card. They all must be deported. Do you know what Mulera fell short of? We embraced the population and defused the support he had built to get the population of Ugandans support. We went into homes, we made phone calls, we ate dinners, we drunk beers on a discussion of how we are in a new country, and we must learn to live together. UPC homes were targeted, but listed, suspicions started on who is going to be deported first, we stood firm that no single UPC member is getting deported from this country. I got warnings, on how I was going to eat poison for I visit UPC homes, yes I walked in and we had lunches we had dinners, our kids played together, and a Ugandan calls you to warn you how UPC members are going to put poison in food, and you are going to die. I did not stop I continued the preach of we all must learn to live together. We took trips, we combined families in vans and toured the country, we travelled extensively to understand what Canada was. But we did it together as Ugandans.

But we had to educate UPC members as well, I was called to meet one that had just arrived, and he was wearing a red UPC shirt. I took him on the side and instructed him to never ever wear it again, if he had a chance of settling here, I do not want to see that shirt again. Well but I was told this is a free country? Yes but my job is not to sell you to this country, it is only limited to sell you to the Uganda society in this city. Now drop the firkin shirt. It was tough but never easy.

When you look at Rwandans like Allan Barigye, they have done a very good work, they have combined all Tutsi in this city and country to target Hutus. Tutsis have worked with the Canadian government, to make sure that Hutus get arrested and deported. Hutus have been in Ontario courts, they have been in Montreal courts, in Ottawa courts, they have arrived even into the Canada supreme court. If I am not mistaken, the Canadian government at one point even imported Rwandans to Canada to be witnesses against fellow Rwandans. To this posting I am submitting to you that we have not got a single UPC member or any one from a past government that has ever been taken to a Canadian court. Not firkin one. And if you raise it up to take them to courts you deal directly with me, EM and I will kill it. And trust me if I decide to kill any thing in this city, in the community, it is gone. That Rwandan build up is exactly what Muniini Mulera wanted to build Ugandans into, an inferno to take any Northerner or a UPC member to a Canadian court and gets deported back to Uganda, UPC members in this forum would have today been deported daily as Hutus are. I thank God for without even a blue print to copy we managed to make a decision some of us are living with to today. Ugandans must learn to live together, and if we have failed to do it in Uganda surely we should do it in Canada.

That is  why when they turn around today to go after me and call me a White Supremacist, I remember the words my parents used, my mother to today is very simple, she would just say "Please stop teething at me" and she walks away, that sent a message that she is pissed.  My father on the other side of the isle, was bold, and he was a terrorist in the house, and the moment you heard his statement, you made sure you took to the jungles before he turned his face, for if he made his statement and turned his face, saw an axe, it was air borne to you. Rest in peace old man you pushed us through a very tight line to what we are today. His cut off sentence was "Oyagala Kun'gendako nga Ensiko yebuzze !!!" ? In my entire life I never heard any one that had the strength to respond to that statement, for the next thing to it was violence. No buts, no ifs, you firkin split.

On looking at Uganda society in this city today, we have gone our separate ways but the societal pillars remain, and as age catches up, I see now we have started to die, but a Ugandan will not be deported from this country for political reasons, we squashed that. What I pray is that we get the strength to allow our people to listen to each other, let us talk at what happened, why did we go that far? Tutsis are deporting the Hutus but that debt is going to be paid at a certain point, I do not want to borrow for I do not want my children to pay, and with that statement if you want a war from me go after a UPC family, wishing to use the system to deport it, now you have thrown yourself into the very situation that Mayimuna Kenyi threw herself into. And I strongly believe in my heart that even fools like Peter Simon Okurut, a UPC member, will arrive at a point of civilization and we hold a commission of inquiry at what exactly happened in Uganda. And that Okurut growth is my firkin death wish.

If we can get an inquiry in Uganda like the one that happened in South Africa, Lord take me home tonight, I am good to go.
