{UAH} IMF FUNDS SHOULD SAVE LIVES!

Common sense dictates that to best cope with the long-term effects of Covid-19, the $1bn Dollar International Monetary Fund loan to the government of Uganda should be used to vaccinate everyone, and then everything will gradually get back to normal once and for all, including the economy. The biggest illusion to any dream of an economic recovery is future lockdowns. But let's wait and hear all the highly technical economics vocabulary jargon that will be used to explain other miraculous priorities awaiting an IMF loan that has been requested in the name of the people of Uganda as citizens die.

Three key questions must be asked to Uganda's development partners:

1 - Exactly how many Ugandans is this money projected to save from the long-term effects of Covid-19,

2 - How much money from this loan is the World Bank projecting will be stolen through corruption, and

3 - How many people is IMF projecting will die because the stolen money didn't buy vaccines?

Public administration policy decisions should not be based on acnedotes, hearsay, great proverbs and outstanding vocabulary, but on knowledge, rigurous analysis of resilient data, clarity in public purpose, a robust nationalist vision, and simple common sense.
