FMT in partnership with The Global Institute For Tomorrow (GIFT) brings you a Covid-19 "healer" from Nigeria.

Bayo Omoboriowo distributes food items and beverages to the less privileged, vulnerable and elderly in his hometown of Ijero Ekiti, in Ekiti State, during the government-imposed lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Nigeria.

These communities often earn a living from petty trades, farming and commercial transportation. But the pandemic has prevented people from earning a regular income for almost a month.

Bayo is usually the official photographer for the President of Nigeria. His wish to improve people's lives was a major driving force behind this social intervention project.
