{UAH} PHOTOS: Gen Kainerugaba Combs Zombo District

_{The commander of Land Forces Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba was today afternoon in Zeu , Zombo district in West Nile following an attack by the rebels from the DR Congo.}

_{This website understands that Gen Kainerugaba was on ground to access the situation and morale boost the men and women who managed to send the enemy into disarray after killing several of the attackers and capturing many others.}

_{The General spent the day in the field with the troops that repulsed the attack sought to personally appreciate the soldiers, listen to their issues, and generally understand the environment in which his soldiers operate.}

_{He also toured the encampment and part of the Uganda-DRC border in Zombo.}

_{Gen Kainerugaba commended the soldiers for successfully repulsing the rebels, urging them to continue defending their nation.}

_{On Friday UPDF repulsed rebels from the Cooperative for the Development of Congo (CODECO) that targeted their base in Zombo.}

_{The group which was about 20 men were disguising as forest workers.}

_{UPDF soldiers put up a strong fight killing five of the attackers while 2 were captured alive and an SMG riffle and other rudimentary weapons including bows and arrows were also captured.}
