The day Bobi Wine beat up Bebe Cool to near death!

7th June 2009 is the day Bebe Cool will never forget in his entire lifetime. On this fateful day, Bobi Wine rained heavy punches to the self proclaimed "Bigsize" that almost sent him to meet his ancestors. All this happened at CBS fm's then annual music concert "ekitoobero" in Nakivubo stadium. The drama started when Bebe Cool while perfoming on stage stated that there were only two big musicians in Uganda and that it was only him and Jose Chameleone. This didnt go on well with his fierce rival Bobi Wine who was backstage and was waiting to perform next after Bebe Cool. Bobi Wine perceived this as a direct attack and total disrespect to him, so he decided to camp at the stage stairs and wait for Bebe Cool to finish his performance and answer for his reckless statements. As Bebe Cool descended the stairs, Bobi Wine who was now already boiling in anger attacked him and rained heavy punches on him. Bebe Cool tried defending himself by pushing Bobi Wine away but this only worsened the situation as the rest of the firebase crew members including Buchaman, now joined Bobi Wine and beat the living hell out of Bebe Cool. Bebe Cool was left lying on the ground helplessly almost in coma and heavily wounded. Sympathisers then rushed him to Central Police Station to open up a case, but was instead referred to Old Kampala Police station. However, he could not record the statement because he was unconscious. He was later taken to Mayo hospital where he spent the entire night undergoing serious treatment. According to a doctor at the hospital, Bebe Cool fractured his left leg and had serious body pains as a result of the severe beatings. Upon recovering consciousness the next day, Bebe Cool recorded a statement at Old Kampala Police station and opened up a case of assault against Bobi Wine. A few days later when Bobi Wine was asked why he beat up Bebe Cool he replied, "Spare the rod and spoil the child"
