{UAH} WHAT IS POLITICAL MATURITY?

Friends

As the Mwiiri graduate sums up his spell checking on his writing about his Malakwany culture from his region, let us shift gears this Toronto nice morning and shake up the above question, and I will start this way, political maturity is the ability to separate yourself from the party and set up your expectations from it by which you judge it. So I can be a Liberal party member in this country, but not for it exists, but because it agrees to follow what I have set up myself to expect from that particular party. For the record I have been a Liberal party supporter all my life in this country, come next Monday I am going to vote for my Prime Minister Justine Trudeau and my MP Merci Ieni, and I am going to come back to that election as I end up this piece, but I am not going to elect them for they are Liberals but because they conform with my political expectations, and when they do not, I move on with my vote. On provincial level and Municipal level I have voted for non-Liberals for they directly affect my life in the city, they collect my garbage, they take care of my shit, they construct but maintain the road I drive on, and the list continues. But the picture that Canada shows out there is created and produced by Ottawa and The Liberal party goes out of it way to represent what I like it to be.

I do not accept freebies out of the Liberal party for the moment I accept them, I lose the control of my vote and the party controls it. Peter Simon Okurut will die a slave of a dead man for he paid his school fees. Obote today sits in a grave and dictates what Okurut posts and how he reasons, no I reject being enslaved by a dead firkin crap.

Uganda and Ugandans have failed to get that maturity, they supported Bobie Winnie because he made noise, seriously what else made you support him? Yea I know Malakwany made you support him, do you have a single policy that he raised that unbolted your screws? Can you name it? What is Bobie Winnie’s platform have you read it? Can you post it in this forum and we chew on it? No Ugandans develop a drunkenness on a political leader and they take off their clothes in support and if you question him/her then you are the bad guy. Bobie Winnie’s platform is as elusive as the Peter Simon Okurut’s culture.

I supported UPC party in our country, good Lord I have defended the party in this forum, but do you know why I refuse to carry a UPC card? The party walked into a store, picked up guns and shot Ugandans to change a political leader in 1979. I can understand when a soldier picks up a weapon and change a  government, I just cannot get my hand on how a political party can change power with a gun, for that is not even in your blood. UPC party was built to develop democracy in Uganda, it was built to protect Ugandans, it was built to build infrastructure and serve the people, for the people by people, how dare you change to get a gun and point it to those very same people? That is why UPC as a political party became defunct come 1979, and that is why you see that since 1979 the party limped from problem to problem till when it expired. I am submitting to you this morning that in 1979 every intelligent Ugandan with a UPC card in his pocket should have walked to Uganda House and dropped his party card on the steps of the main door, for the party committed a crime you really do not want to be associated with. And if you still own that red card today kindly walk to Uganda House and drop it to the steps of Uganda House and move on with your life for UPC party is a defunct party that is never going to raise again back to power.

Stop torching your life with a useless party and move on. That is how political maturity operates.

Political maturity is the ability to recognize that Dr Kiiza Besigye, a man trained to save lives, walked out of his professional expectations and used it to murder Ugandans. Good Lord if you do not know the danger Besigye committed then you have no principles, the man was trained to hold no biasness, when you bring a mass murderer from Luzira he is supposed to treat him/her, when you bring a mother that has just killed her baby he treats her and then calls police in, when Obote falls sick he walks to Besigye’s clinic and he treats him, when Iddi Amin walks in he treats him, that is what doctors do every day and every night, it is to treat those worth the treatment and those not worth. How well would Dr Kiiza Besigye treated Oyite Ojoke if he found him with a collapsed lung? How well would have he treated Tito Okello if he found him with a blocked bladder? Would Dr Kiiza Besigye treated Obote’s kid if he found him in a car accident? How about if he found an Owinyi Kibul bus blown up in Bombo and all occupants happen to be Acholi, you think he would curve his sleeves to get wet with blood to treat them? Then explain to me what kind of a fucked up Doctor is Kiiza Besigye. The moment Besigye walked into Luwero and murdered Ugandans political maturity should have taken course and we throw the crap to Luzira. And do you know why we should have done that? For think about a country where you have a Doctor walking into a jungle and murder as many Ugandans as he can, and the second doctor you have in line is Dr Bata that walks into Nakaseke his own hospital, steals all medications from the store and walk into the Luwero war to murder Ugandans. Is that the country you want for real? With this writing I am calling on the Uganda medical governing body to declare Dr Kiiza Besigye’s Doctorship null and void, so that he loses the title of Doctor and to refuse him from ever treating any one in Uganda for his doctorship is impaired and decided upon based on political fallacy. The very same steps must be taken against Dr Bata in absentia. If those steps are not taken then Ugandans must have a question mark on every walking Uganda doctor, which I do not want to happen.

Last night I pulled my election card out of my drawer and took it to my car for I am electing the next leader in this country come next Monday, and I do not want to forget and do not drop that vote. This morning I am going to use that very same political maturity and make a call on my election next week. As I stated way back I am not comfortable to state that we are going to win this election, but I am voting for my prime minister as I have stated above. But having stated that, these are the cards I am holding on the table for this election, if we as Liberals lose the election we will go down gracefully, and Canada will get a clue less prime minister of the name Erin O’Toole. If that happens I will call on the resignation of my prime Minister for we will need a new blood in the party. Canadian election is controlled by two provinces, Quebec and Ontario, thus by 8pm Toronto time I will have a clue how the election will end up, the next 15 minutes after 8pm I will look very closely to my heart to make the decision to what I will demand from the prime Minister. If by 8pm Toronto time I believe that we have won the election with a majority I will congratulate the prime minister, but if my calculation ends up revealing that we are winning election but we are going to have a minority government, I will stand up and demand a resignation of my prime minister for that will mean that the platform we have is not the problem but who is on the ticket. I am not going to support this Prime Minister if Monday we walk out with a minority government, and do you know why? Because we went to Canadians and they gave us a minority government, we are going back to them this time around and if they give us a minority again, it means that we are not handing them a good candidate, but they are voting for the platform minus the candidate. With that minority government I will ask for the resignation and I will need it on Monday, Not next week not next couple of years but Monday. So when the numbers flow in and we know the results, when the prime minister stands to address the country, and he has a minority government, his speech must have a sentence of resignation date so that we keep the government with an acting prime minister, with whom we will go back to Canadians and ask for a mandate. Mr. prime minister my support to you is totally unquestionable, but to keep it you have to get a majority come Monday.

As I end this piece, when we fail to own political maturity, we become stagnated, look closely at UPC supporters, don’t you wonder to today that Peter Simon Okurut has failed to replace Obote to lead the party?  The man is dead and the insect that ate him is dead too, are you telling me that no Ugandan can lead that party? No one because the party its self by joining the 1979 war shocked Ugandans and every good brain ran out of it. Don’t you wonder why Abbey Semuwemba is still smoking Dr Kiiza Besigye to today? 40 firkin million people and Semuwemba still cannot find a replacement of Besigye? If my prime minister resigns come next Monday I have about 5 candidates I can throw in, and one might actually be a woman, we have some vibrant out there trust me. Why is Okurut and Semuwemba stuck with one dead man and one walking dead man? Because Ugandans are politically stalled, they sit and when a crap like Bobie Winnie shows up they grapple their hands on him, and if he moves out they can never replace him for they grapple on him without even a plan B.

Fellow Ugandans grow up from the foolishness of publicly calling Malakwany a culture, and become politically firkin mature.
