One can never discuss American politics with a Democrat without the name of Donald J Trump, as Uganda politics has now become Yoweri Museveni. That stall will always end up a disaster, and the position American Democrats are sitting in this morning is a classic example of the danger of a political stall. You know I posted last night about the prices of fuel on pumps that they are on the highest in past seven years, and a some guy decided to jump on me out of nowhere, and the usual suspects followed in pursue. What he did not realize was that I never post any thing out of hate, when Democrats do a good thing I recognize it, I live this long in forums for hate is none of my assets, well he took on a wrong guy, for I had the facts to back my statement and he went back to the corner as the poor Rwandan that jumps at every quivle in the forum, Grow up people this is politics and it affects all of us, if gas prices get out of control we all pay the same prices. Under Trump our company started to budget for fuel, which we never did under the entire Obama lunacy, when the fraudulent came in we stopped to budget for it, for we had no clue where it will be tomorrow. You cannot set up a budget for this fuel, and you cannot lie that it is consumption that has gone up. In a pandemic a consumption of fuel has gone up? What do I look to you lie? Okay now I feel better let us go to the facts why I have decided to log on this morning, a Uganda kid in diaspora got a suggestion in her head that astounded me, she wanted to walk back into the country and build a cold storage. In my entire dreams about that country it is a suggestion that never passed my mind, a tropical country, why should a massive cold storage be worth investing into? This was her explanation, go back to Uganda build a massive cold warehouse, total square 500,000 feet. 170 trailer spaces, 70 dock-height doors, three drive in doors, and a warehouse to provide 200 feet of rail dock with two overhead doors to accommodate future rail service. She needed a full dedicated power service to the massive building.  Her explanation was that no matter who leads Uganda, the country needs a cold storage to store its agricultural products before they are air lifted out, East African countries need cold storages for their imports and Vaccines have just proved that point, but United States uses South Africa for its cold storage. Whether they are moving dead people or specimens or what have you, they have to go to Cape Town for that service, if we have a reliable cold system we can tap into that market too,

 

It is a business that needs too little over seeing, so that way it is manageable. You can even sit at home and control what temperature goes into what room, you can rent them on line, open the facility on line, and rent it on line. In 2021 I can sit in Toronto and close a door in Kampala. I started to buy into the project, you have so much wasted land with fools just trumping on it why not make it useful?

 

She threw her proposal to a Canadian bank, and they agreed to finance it no problem. Tell us how you want the money and we will start to throw it in your business account. There was one problem, when ever you run a corporation, all loans to your corporations are revealed to the corporation insurer, it is like buying a car on financing, everything that happens to that car must be informed to the lien holder, for you own that car with the lien holder. If you take that loan to start that business, she estimated to need $750,000 Canadian dollars, in three installments of $250,000. That insurance company covering your corporation must be informed about that loan, for it must cover that loan. The insurance came back with we cannot cover that loan if this investment is going to be done in Uganda. Guess what they cited? Corruption. It is our assessment that the thought is good and money can come back but Uganda as a country is too corrupt for us to insure that loan, you need to find someone else to insure it. Now some Insurance out there would have insured it, trust me Lloyds of London can insure the body of your dead cat in the grave, you just ask them and they will cover it, but the Canadian content here was valuable to her. If my business is covered by a Canadian insurance I get an extra hour sleep, will I get it when an Iranian insurance has covered it? With tears in her eyes she pulled the entire project off the wall.

 

This is the first time we have seen an insurance company pulling out of a deal to Uganda due to corruption, are there more denials out there? Or this was the first? We simply do not know. Insurance companies never act out of the blue, if they made such a decision trust me it is going to happen again, and I can bet it has happened before. I have a business account credit card, which automatically insures any car I rent. I do not have to call them they just automatically insure it, but when I flew to Nairobi Budget told me that if I am going to travel to Uganda I must call the insurance company for a clarification, I called them and they covered that rental. I ended up not driving to Uganda but that gave me a question why Uganda had to be called in. I travel allot, Cuba firkin Guatemala to you name it I do not call anyone. I get an accident I report it to the local police and fly out. Why does Uganda has to be called in? Is it corruption too?

 

These days I have decided to write several pieces not about Museveni, not about Muhoozi but Uganda the state. For to me Museveni is going to move out of the way without a single shot fired, it is very foolish for allow us to sit in this Museveni is a very terrible man loop that many of you have sat in for thirty years. I knew Ugandans that have only discussed that topic their entire lives. I have focused on Uganda the state, with Museveni in or Museveni out. These are issues that are going to affect that country where Obote is resurrected as many of you think, or his Dog become the next president as many of you believe, if Bobbie Winnie comes to power you need to transmit data, if Besigye’s son becomes the next president as many of you believe corruption has to be delt with. If EM becomes the next president Uganda needs to be industrialized with small scale industries out there. I do not care who walk into the White House, the fools in Teso and Acholi must start to invest into their region. These are matters you simply can not go away with. You need to pull your sleeves and make your hands dirty, stop this stall of Museveni is a very bad man and fix your God damn shit-hole.

 

And do you know why? Because as I write these pieces, all these un-done back grounds, are going to accumulate up all together at that country, and on that one day, your children will realize, that the word of their grand parents of drink Ajono every day with out a worry, for a Muganda is growing Coffee for you to firkin nibble on, actually expired. And at that time I will probably be walking Nazareth streets, trying to catch up with Moses, yes I have some serious questions to the old man at how he made some decisions, some of which that left us the firkin Palestinians to deal with our entire lives. How did he justify that decision?
