{UAH} INTERNATIONAL TERROR ALERT SQUABBLES AS PEOPLE DIE!

First, my condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of Saturday nights pork bar explosion. As the motives of the perpetrators of this terrorist attack are being determined, clearly everything must be done to bring them to justice to answer for their heinous crime of killing innocent people, even if this particular business was supposed to be closed under COVID-19 restrictions. Meanwhile, it is important that when a foreign country issues an international terror alert like the UK did concerning Uganda a few days ago, their words must be followed by forwarding their evidence and intelligence information to the security services of the country said to be at risk of an attack. Clearly Britain knew something that Uganda didn't. Therefore the UK government should not only be able to say confidentially how they knew the pork bar attack was imminent, but also why they did not share the actual critical intelligence details with Uganda which is now starting its investigation from scratch yet a foreign government, a development partner, knew beforehand that a pork bar terrorist attack was going to happen in the African country in a few days time. This proves that there is need for an international security protocol around foreign terror alerts. First of all who knows what ulterior political motives a foreign country could be using terror alerts for, and in any case, a substantive international security alert protocol would systematically help prevent loss of life and the serious injuries suffered by the victims if indeed yesterday's explosion is found to be related to the UK terror alert. Naturally the forensic investigation might take weeks or even months. But the terrorist's plot could have been prevented if anti-terrorism cooperation and related information sharing had occurred correctly, professionally, and instinctively, rather than the diplomatic squabbles that ensued between Uganda and Britain after the terror alert from London. However right now, in public safety interest, it would be extremely pertinent for the British government to inform, with evidence, the people of both Uganda and the UK exactly who, or which terrorist group their latest terror alert was about.
