{UAH} Answers to some of the frequently asked questions about the PEOPLE'S FRONT FOR TRANSITION(PFT)*

*Answers to some of the frequently asked questions about the PEOPLE'S FRONT FOR TRANSITION(PFT)*

*Q.* What is PFT (that has become the "Red Card Front" regularly called the *Front*)?
*Ans:* It is an amalgam of all opposition forces of change in Uganda including but not limited to opposition political parties, civil society organisations and all change yearning citizens (home and abroad) established to intensify and deliver the struggle for regime change in Uganda. The Front thus aims to precipitate an immediate "National Transition Order", spearheaded by a Government of National Unity (TGNU), that shall ultimately usher in a " New Political Order", sooner than later.

*Q.* Where does PFT derive its leadership?

*Ans:* The PFT leadership is currently comprised of civic leaders from renown social movements; and political actors from the SDP, UPC, JEEMA, FDC, DP-Bloc, People's Government (PG), PSP, UYD, and CP, whose designated top leadership together constitute the "Joint Consultative Council (JCC)" as the supreme organ of the front; with an Interim National Executive Organ mandated to undertake its day to day decision making and management; subsisted by the 12 Technical Panels tasked to drive the "clustered activities" of the Front and consolidate the People's Protracted Civil Resistance and Action - against the regime.

*Q.* Is the Front not going to overshadow or antagonize  the existing opposition pressure groups and political parties of Uganda - like NUP, FDC, DP, etc?

*Ans:* Not at all! The front does not intend to undermine, overshadow, contradict or adulterate the objectives of any existing political entity, small or big. In fact it has come to fill the gaps; overcome the constraining tendencies and circumstances; give redress to past failures and mistakes (as we retrospectiely reflect on the missed opportunities); bring together and  build indomitable "collective capacity" for all the struggling oppressed lot, misruled citizenery and captured institutions (as guided by the *Framework of the Front* - generated, agreed and ratified by all forces and entities willing to coalesce and subscribe to this grand effort.

So much that the Front not only becomes a complementary facet, in the cause to fight oppression; dictatorship; misrule; and the rampaging 'state and institutional captors'; *but also* a strategically innovative initiative through which to pool and pull together, in the greater and noble mission to ultimately free and liberate the country: Putting Uganda on a firm course to engender National reconciliation, rehabilitation and building back better our institutional and physical infrastructure, the collapsed economy, and the country's social-political superstructures and moral fabric.

*Q.* How does the FRONT intend to accomplish the job of deposing the corrupt Repressive Autocratic Mafia Junta - perpetuating the current misrule, dictatorship, socio-economic plunder, downright kleptocracy, etc.?

*Ans:* The front aspires to employ multiple and versatile approaches towards ejecting the junta. Including carrying out  a range of overt and covert mass  mobilization and awareness campaigns; plus wider capacity building and people empowerment efforts, country wide.

*Q.* What is the primary objective of the FRONT?

*Ans:* The Front's primary objective is to enable and afford the affected population, publics, individuals, civil society, trade unions/groups academia, students,  political  Parties and Entities, the opportunity to freely dialogue, coalesce, organise and rally all troops and the population, this time round not around elections, but on a deliberat superior agenda and mission, to non-violently eject the junta sooner than 2026, and install a "new socio-economic and political order", under a *Transition Government of National Unity* that will bring about the long desired political, constitutional and electoral reforms upon which to organize the long awaited credible Free, Fair, Non-violent and Transparent Multiparty General Elections - as elaborated in the PFT, October 2nd, 2021, *National Transition Agenda*.
*NB:* The reasons for such, are well elaborated in the recently outed PFT 24 point "State of the Crisis in Uganda.

The population is therefore urged to fully internalize this unprecedented "State of the Crisis; the great pain and discontent it has caused to over 95% of Uganda's population and its urban and rural communities; and rally the nation, its neighbors and development partners, to embrace the agreggtating forces of change and transition.
