MBARARA CITY TO CONSTRUCT THREE TAXI PARKS.

Mbarara city to construct 3 taxi parks in the plan 2022-2023 according to Mbarara town clerk Mr Richard Mugisha to decongest the city centre.

The taxi parks will be constructed at most 2km  away from the city centre to ease the follow of traffic on the already jammed city road.

All the major routes must have a taxi park such as Mbarara-Kabale road will have its taxi park in Ruti, Mbarara-Bushenyi and Ibanda will have one in Ruharo and the third one will be constructed in Koranorya that will cater for Mbarara-Masaka Lyantonde passengers.

However Mugisha added by saying that the already existing taxi park will be upgraded to the Standard of a city and will help passengers who will be continuing to other destinations.

All the division mayors such as Jomo mugabi and Kyabwisho were all informed about this development and background works have already commenced in respective areas he said.
