{UAH} The war in Ethiopia is all about tribalism

By Moses Byamugisha, FDC

The Ethiopian Tigray region and its people had dominated the politics and the military of this country for over 30 years. Consequently with the coming to power of the new Prime minister Abbey, power effectively slipped out of their hands something that has since been bothering them. As people who are now out of government, they obliviously feel left out and marginalized politically and socially. This to me informs their decision to rebel against the current government of Prime minister Abbey.
Ofcource as a government in power ,Abbey and his team have a noble responsibility of fighting the Tigray rebels to ensure there is peace in the country.

Imagine a situation where Mr Museveni has left power and Uganda has a new President from another region. And because Museveni's henchmen feel bad that they have no access to government resources anymore, they decide to rebel against the new government by launching an armed rebellion. I don't think the new government would be wrong to mobilize to crash the rebels in defense of its mandate to protect the country's citizens and their property.

Thats how I see it!
