Deputy RCC Masaka City Haji Ahmed Kateregga Musaazi awarding certificates to 100 farmers after a one and half years training in modern fruit farming trained by NGO Forum in Masaka in conjunction with Private Sector Foundation and Directorate of Industrial Training.
It was held at Bright Africa Primary School Kyabakuza in Masaka City.
He thanked the NGO Forum for this vocational course and promised to mobilize support for it from Office of the President and Ministry of Finance.
He called for rehabilitation and expansion of Ssese Farm Institute, Masaka District Farm Institute Kanenyamiggo and Muteesa Royal University which succeeded Uganda Technical College Masaka to be more technical and vocational including modernising bark-cloth industry.
He called upon them to benefit from Myoga and Parish Development Model.
He asked them to be grateful to President Museveni and NRM Government for infrastructure development in Masaka.
