{UAH} Museveni is so comfortable after the 2020-21 elections

Museveni is ,undoubtedly, a wise man, and he's so comfortable as president in this term compared in the past, for obvious reasons. 

I remember reading one of Francis Bwengye 's books( I have forgottentheTittle) , where he contends that so many DP elders begged Museveni not to launch the UPM in 1980, because they knew that it would weaken and divide DP. Indeed, a big bunch of young people at the time, especially non- Baganda, joined UPM at the expense of DP which was the main opposition then. The new young recruits became so significant when he later formed a rebel group, PRA, to fight Obote's government after the elections. 

Secondly, Museveni knew he wasn't going to win the 1980 elections. So, he mainly used them to open more FRONASA underground cells in various parts of the country, and fundraising for the war. 

FRONASA men headed by Fred Rwigyema ( R.I.P) provided him with protection throughout the campaigns. 

 Now, you understand why Museveni, as president, always insists on providing security to all presidential candidates during and after elections. He knows what could happen if one doesnt keep an eye on his challengers. He could even provide you with a bullet- proof car if that's what you want. I'm sure they must be people following Katumba Oyee, too, up to now.

The dude knew what he wanted to become from high school. He devised means of getting it, and how to retain it. Yes, he wanted to become president. Till Ugandans stop enjoying music and dancing so much, I can't see anything changing in the next 10-- 15 years.
