{UAH} IDI AMIN WAS 100% RIGHT TO TOPPLE OBOTE

Amin might have murdered a few in the eyes of those who believe he did but proportionally to Uganda's then popuation that was a lot plenty of murders. Worse of all he almost extinguished Uganda's intelligentia. But while many gloated over his murder sprees, I was by far more disturbed by one bloodless event that didnt last long. I was completely disoriented and lost count of days of the week - yeap, days of the week - because the buffoon woke up one bloodless day to make Friday a holiday and Sunday a workday.

Even my speedy cute Alsatian dog, Major (abridged name from Major Abdalla Nasur for fear of courting mayhem to the family should word reach the feared dude), was disoriented on seeing his best friend home on Fridays instead of school. He always looked at me suspiciously as though I was up to no good about the possibility of skipping his favourite weekend hunts in the hills and gardens - something Major always looked forward to even though he never enjoyed making kills instead preferring to speedy sports with his animal compatriots and bredrens - esp. rabbits. Then again, that was Major - a dog I could instruct to go feth a guinea fowl for dinner and he would disappear into the fields and hills and sure enough return with a guinea fowl. How he caught the flying birds remains a mystery. But I would never send him to fetch a rabbit. Instead he would return tired and breathless from running around purposelessly - meaning he indeed spotted a rabbit or rabbits but relished in sporting activities with them. I think the bunnies also knew him as their friendemy. True story.

So I was the happiest kid alive when the new government quickly restored Saturday and Sunday as weekends
