 As you read these reports, follow what is happening closely. When Trump was in  power, the cost of a barrel of oil went to a negative price, Calgary reached a point of refusing to sell their oil for it was about 4 dollars a barrel and that amount was not even enough to pay for its transportation, they just stopped to sell. A barrel now is at historical high way passed 100 dollars and we do not even have enough sellers. All because we have a very foolish man in the White House with policies he expects to turn the earth green.  As he fumbles, Russia is the main producer of the material used to manufacture the EV battery. He has pissed on Russia. But here is the other part, as we  pay for gas this expensively, we are dumping so much money into the economy that inflation is emanate. When he walked into office he made sure that he puts a beak at every well that was operating under the Trump administration, now here is what must catch your attention, if he changes his mind today and those wells reopen, it takes them a year to come back on line where Trump left them. We are in this nightmare for a long haul. Now as those prices raise up watch what happens to the steak you eat. This is going to affect a Trumptart and a none Trumptard.

 It frustrates when you walk into a forum and warn people over and over about a catastrophe that is about to hit them, and they listen to a brain less Allan Barigye a Rwandan. Numbers never firkin lie.

Americans May Have to Say Goodbye to Steak and Burgers as Beef Costs Rise

(Bloomberg) -- Americans could be cutting steaks and burgers from their diets as inflation soars, if beef-packer profit margins are any indication.

Processors like Tyson Foods Inc. and JBS USA are making the least amount of money per head of cattle slaughtered in more than two years, according to data from HedgersEdge LLC. That's a sign that demand for the luxury meat is flagging.

Consumers more likely to splurge on steaks and chops when the stock market is up. That's in doubt as Russia's invasion of Ukraine pressures markets. Meat prices are part of what's behind soaring inflation that's the worst in four decades, and consumers are getting sticker shock.

"On the demand side, the concern is discretionary spending," said Don Roose, president of brokerage U.S. Commodities Inc. in West Des Moines, Iowa. "Will consumers look to cheaper proteins or will they skip proteins?"

Estimated profit margins for beef packers fell to $102.45 per head Tuesday. That's the around the lowest since before the coronavirus pandemic began early in 2020. During the outbreak, workers inside slaughterhouses caught the virus and forced plants to close, limiting the amount of beef available and sending prices soaring to record highs. Packer margins peaked at $1,009.30 per head in May 2020, adding to criticism of pandemic profiteering by meat companies.

The balance is starting to shift as the war is also raising prices for grains -- including wheat hitting a record. Elevated feed prices will prompt livestock farmers to scale back herds, hitting profits for slaughterhouses.
