In 1994, Ukraine had a gigantic nuclear arsenal until it signed the Budapest Memorandum and handed over 1,600 nuclear weapons left over from the former Soviet Union to Russia in exchange for a peace treaty and a guarantee never to be invaded or threatened.

The very least the US and Great Britain should do would be to live up to the Budapest accords. This includes sending Ukraine any weapons they need to fight Russia. Considering this agreement was made in good faith on the part of the Ukraine (they did give up their nuclear weapons), the US and GB SHOULD support the Ukraine with troops as well as air support. Otherwise the US & GB are only marginally as bad as Russia in keeping treaties
