{UAH} HOW RWANDANS LIKE ALLAN BARIGYE TARGETTED OUR COUNTRY TO DO A GENERATIONAL DAMAGE TO BUGANDA
Friends
As I continue to fight this one man battle of Rwandans in our country, this morning I need to specifically raise the long term damage that Rwandans have done to Buganda as a region. Uganda politics has sadly been transformed into an urban discussion, when you try to question our friends from Eastern Uganda at how we can help to change the life standards in their region, they turn around and go right back to the Kampala politics, but you see Dr Kiiza Besigye said this. For ion years I have preached how the Gonja on busses in Eastern Uganda needs to be eliminated, we need to create jobs in those regions so that people can have a source of income better than the Kibbo of Gonja on bus routes, the response was to call me a racist. Buganda on the other side is a region that cared about the local income of local folks, almost every Muganda I know had a source of income at his own Kibanja. And that income was solidly supported by the growth of Coffee and Cotton, and we grew it massively that Coffee was listed as a major foreign exchange earner of the country. We knew how to grow it, we knew how to pick it, we knew how to dry it, we knew how to pack it, we had a market to sell it. We used that money to pay government poll tax, our mothers got a Gomesi, and families were able to buy a piece of meat on Christmas. Unlike other regions of Uganda Baganda had a very stable income for every family unit, owning a Kibanja with coffee plantation was a pre requirement to every Muganda man before you marry any one's daughter.
When the Barigye's arrived to our country the very first thing they did, was to reinstate the Kingdom, that was the first direct damage Rwandans did to Buganda, and I am not here to go after Mengo, that is not my agenda today, but I need you to surgically look at how Rwandans are systematic in the destruction of Buganda. They reinstate Mengo, and then use that very Mengo to go after the Coffee plantation. It was Dr Kisekka a Muganda man and a very pro Kingdom that was preaching on radio stations, if you do not get enough money from coffee cut the God damn trees. And Baganda in day light got their pangers and with their own hands destroyed the only source of income they had in the country. When we want to discuss Buganda region we have no where to start for Baganda lost a source of income permanently. And why do I say permanently? Because a Muganda of age 30 today which is considered an adult, does not know how to grow Emwanyi, does not know how to pick them, does not know how to dry them, for all those steps were being done on international level, now if a today's 30 year old does not have that knowledge, how do you think will his children reinstate the plant? Our people are going to own a very fertile land, which is abandoned and if you want to get an income you trend on that fertile land and get a Gonja in kibbo on a bus stop. That is exactly where Buganda is sadly heading. And when you get a source of income out of Buganda the region is fucked, which is the very agenda of Rwandans to have along term hold on the region.
When Baganda were growing this crop, they never grew it for Uganda to get a foreign exchange, it was to get a source of income, and I have argued way back that the very Mwiiri graduates are the only beneficiaries of that crop, that in a larger argument is true but the purchase of paraffin in village was also based on the little price Baganda were being paid. And here is where I am going with this argument, in the entire history of the country, none Baganda have professionally attacked Buganda with a thinking that weakening Buganda will make the country better, and if you look closely the only supporters of Rwandans in this forum are actually none Baganda, they believe that the actions of Rwandans in failing Buganda works in their favor, thus when the plant was attacked and destroyed, the Peter Simon Okurut's were holding a glee on their face for that destroys Buganda.
Will all Ugandans end up the same? I opine that yes we are going to all fail, for think this through, Mayimuna Kenyi stood in this forum and preached how Rwandans do not bother her, "If you are a Rwandan I do not care" That was her exact statement. As a Muganda I wonder a couple of issues here, does Mayimuna Kenyi understand the value of coffee in Buganda? Does she know that Rwandans eradicated it? Can she comprehend the long term damage that erosion has caused and will continue to cause in Buganda? Has Mayimuna Kenyi ever owned a Coffee tree? Has she ever grown one in her entire life? Has she ever picked a sack of coffee from her plantation? Has she ever taken it to a store and sold it? So if she has never owned a single tree the question becomes how can Rwandans erase an entire plant in our region, a plant that made Uganda a famous country and a plant that built literary the base of income in the entire region of Buganda, and she says that Rwandans are not a problem in our country? The answer is very simple, when you erase coffee plantation out of the entire region of Buganda, fifteen years from today the entire Buganda region is going to look exactly like firkin Koboko. And if we can get that stage in Buganda Allan Barigye a Rwandan is a hero to Mayimuna Kenyi.
Critical thinkers look at the future of Buganda region with a tear in their eyes and you better cry with them.
