Leading African countries in the Mastercard Index of Women Entrepreneurs (MIWE) in 2021

According to the index, these nations not only have a high percentage of female-owned businesses but also formally support women entrepreneurs.

There is a saying that gender inequality affects everyone. This is true. And any society that denies women the opportunity to work is simply laying the foundation for its own perpetual poverty.
