{UAH} HOW TO SAVE UGANDANS FROM NRMO DEATH TRAP.

HOW TO SAVE UGANDANS FROM NRMO DEATH TRAP.

Ugandan opposition politicians and activists all agree that the M7 regime and the NRM party are a catastrophe for the nation and need to be replaced ASAP - peacefully.

Although I cannot claim to have all the answers, I believe in order to achieve this we must think outside the box and make bold counterintuitive moves. A suggestion I have been ridiculed for before is, unorder to save the people of Uganda, it will be necessary to break up the country. In other words, the various national entities(Kitara, Buganda, Busoga, Acholi, Karamoja etc) that make up Uganda should all simultaneously demand independence or at least autonomy. If well coordinated it will lead to the weakening and collapse of the central government.

Ofcourse such a strategy firstly assumes that the regime has lost credibility among most Ugandans and that secondly most Ugandan nationalities feel that being mis-ruled by M7 is too big a price to pay for preserving Uganda.

A few days ago I learned that a similar strategy had been employed elsewhere to preserve a nation. Over 100 years ago Russia was in the middle of a brutal civil war between the Red Army and its rival the so-called White Army, The Western capitalist powers decided to intervene on behalf of the Whites. Britain and France attacked from the West, North and South while Japan and the US invaded from the East. Prospects looked bleak for the survival of the world's first socialist republic and it's leader, V.I. Lenin and leader of the ruling Bolshevik Party had to think on his feet and quickly came up with a shrewd and cunning plan. He decided to grant independence to the far Eastern Regions of Russia. The Bolshevik Party members, particularly those from the East were stunned and complained bitterly. They did not like the idea at all. However, he stood his ground and worked to win them over. The US and Japan did not require convincing. They quickly recognised the new republic, the DVR (Dalnyevostochnaya Respublika = the Far East Republic), confident they would manage to take it under their influence.

Lenin on his part reckoned that left to their own devices, the people of the DVR would organise and mobilise themselves to defeat the White Army troops along with their foreign allies. To cut a long story short, that's exactly what happened and after victory been achieved by the Bolsheviks, the DVR applied to be a part of Russia again. Other republics like Georgia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan that had earlier been granted independence too also rejoined and together they formed the USSR.

I think a similar strategy, though not guaranteed to succeed can be applied to Uganda. Again it is premised on the assumption that M7 and NRM have lost legitimacy in Ugandan society and that Ugandans would rather have no Uganda than have to be tyrannised by M7 and his cabal.
