{UAH} My not so secret plans when I get rich - very soon

No 1. Buy and privatize Ssese Islands.

Reason: Underuse and misuse 

Plan: Casinos, Hotels, golf courses, international Airport, strip joints, its own police and admin far far off from Yuri Musevninsky's regime. Just call it Africa's Monaco or Africa's Macao of Africa's Ls Vegas with its own, well, say ah absolute Emorimor. Me.

No 2: Occupy Lotuturu

For those of you kids of the 70s and oldies of the 45s, 50, 60s with gray-haired balls, you all heard Amin had a state lodge in the hills of Agoro, now Lamwo District. Actually, built under Obote but The Buff claimed he founded the resort lodge.

Plan: Resort, treetop and 5-star hotel. Casino. Restricted movements with now safari drives since all wildlife can be seen for the hill and rooftop.

Motivation: A few months ago some dude retraced the Buffoon to his chillaxing crib, Lotuturu making a wonderful video of the lodge's remains with that which remains standing, Amin's concrete armchair where the Buff would chillax with a 180 degrees natures view watchin all animals of Kidepo and some in Murchison without leaving this chair overlooking a gentle valley flat-bottomed sprawling the size of Kampala District.

Reason: Serene. Teaming with savanna wildlife. Unattended to. Coolest springs.

Didn't tell you Baboons what I did under Chairman Covid's short-term regime.

With two fed government assignments I suddenly got this  6months offer.

Lady told me she discovered my resume on both LinkedIn and Indeed, compared notes and found them to be genuine and recent.

So she offered me this contract assignment for Senior IT Business Systems Analyst. And, that's my kinda' juice. 

The knee-jerk came very shortly when I thought some a'hole was messing with this Baboon. It wasn't from the government as I am used to but of all places from a very familiar global name - HardRock International.

For goodness sake the only Hardrock I knew was Hardrock Cafe - y'know that global restaurant chain.

Said to myself, "what da fk...! Restaurant hiring and IT fella to do what and where in the Restaurant?"

Thinking of making her ridiculous in all ways I accepted to be interviewed on a certain date 

True story.

My curiosity was there there must be some hidden technologies behind or in basements of those restaurant and knowing it was just a restaurant, I didn't prepare for the interview 

On MS Teams interview date two dudes and a dudess appeared on screens from different cities..and none from Ottawa my crib.

The shock came right away. At intro one dude said he was beaming from HardRock International HQ in Davie, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Lady was from Boston and the other dude from Montreal.

Shocked but not too much. Still at intro stage, the lead guy asked what I knew about HardRock. I shrugged my shoulders in a not-bothered gesture and said "global restaurant chain". And that was it and all I knew 

Big guy gave an awkward smile adding "its alright" then continued that he wasn't surprised with my answer either and I wasn't the first one 

As I wondered what I missed or... was I dreaming, he said "that's is just one of HardRock International businesses but there are three more bigger than restaurant"

He didn't put it to me as a question but I felt my eyeballs departing their sockets.. popped.

Cut along story short, he named Casinos & Racecourses, Hotels & Resorts, and Int. Radio besides restaurants. 

Yikesss...!, I went. Was then that I knew these guys were serious 

To cut short again, after the 45 mins interview big kahuna told me to report to HardRock Casino at an address I knew as Rideau-Carleton Raceway for horse competitions. Took me for the job instantly. So, I told him I knew the place an Aki Bua stadium for horses.

Only then did he go further informing me reason I was being hired was because HardRock made hundreds of hotel and casino acquisitions in the US and Canada during Chairman Corvid's visit and the now HardRock Casino in Ottawa hosted the corporation's Canada IT stuffs and that's where I would be singing railroad and plantation songs.

So far all Native Casinos and Racecourses in Ontario and western provinces are owned by HardRock International. Major racecourses like Ottawa now have Casinos as well as - for Ottawa, the most humongous resort hotel under construction. Several in the US as well.

This is what happened on my first three days of work. I underwent raining on casino hardware and of course how casino systems were integrated for three days. On third day had tour of the casino and racecourse - which I had already visited in the past as a racecourse and no casino. In casino, I said to myself "I wish these idiots knew what I just came to know about the machines and their chances - gamblers are meant to lose at all times. 

Ottawa Casino is open 24hrs. There are folks who spend a week of nights and days without going home - gambling. There are executive special rooms with kitchen staff, bar and gambling tables for high-end gamblers. And believe me, I saw two arrive separate times in limos - All Orientals under escorts. 

When I asked boss who they were, he said even he didnt know except the Casino knows they jetted in for a mano-a-mano gambling against each other and that most often the types that jet gamble in the millions of dollars then jetting off to where they came from. Goes to say, at HardRock Casino in Ottawa there are five restaurants and two buffets each serving different foods from Texan, Italian to Chinese. Those of us staff gobbled food at any buffet or restaurant free on showing badge.

And here is the most awkward element in the Casino. They have jails - yeap, jella, the coolers. Oh yeh, during tour I was shown the jail and when I asked instructor how often arrests were made he answered so fast "daily !". How dumb to commit a crime with the zillion cameras watching you.

I know some of you go or are addicted to gambling. It is truly a bad thingi. I know what they do to those machines.
