{UAH} Video from GPR

"Was coming back from town and I found this on the way policemen in the liveshot training so they had to stop us from moving "

Above was accompying msg from my Musoga darling on her bodaboda ride from Jinja to Bujagali.

Said Bodas kept piling to a level that appeared they planned an impromptu demonstration or festival.

Point is, shouldn't the police give travelers prior notice the road would be unavailable due live shots being fired?

As a kid in Moroto of the 70s there used to some surprises wedged by the police known as Pokcen. To date I don't know its spelling bcos I was at the age of recycling my snot. But what it entailed was unannounced raids in the slum areas of Moroto during which the police literally turned every house upside down searching mainly for spears,  bows/arrows and assault knives ...sometimes guns but guns were a rarity in them days

Problem was that drunk policemen often leaked the planned Pokcen and I saw with my own eyes people bury even their kitchen knives in rubbish pits for later retrieval after the Pokcen. I also witnessed the police in the act often starting early dawn when folks were suffering hangovers and unterruptung couples engaged in "morning glory"

In them days looting was unheard of but what I was told was that after every Pickens returning policemen would have their uniports searched for unknown a possible theft of wanainchi goods for fearbof what would be organized looting or theft by the police

The idea of the Pokcen arose from the notion that rustlers had insiders marauding in town to accumulate weapons and weapon-grade materials that would be used in cattle raids and road ambushes.

Although a Pokcen wasn't announced drunk police amd police with sidekicks in slums often leaked imminent Pokcens
