{UAH} NUP IS ASKING FOR DIALOGUE WITH MUSEVENI!

Ha ha ha. NUP is unsurprisingly asking for dialogue with Museveni, according to the NILE Times. Anyway,this was expected - No surprises there.

NUP should also stop telling people that they don't take IPOD money. IPOD is the number one forum that promotes dialogue among parties.

As we predicted in 2018, the opposition has now fallen apart. You don't request for dialogue that quickly unless you have also accepted that you won't change anything, or things are falling apart. 

Don't get me wrong; I'm not anti- dialogue, but NUP has been sending us mixed messages since 2020 when Kibalama(NRM/ NUP) transferred the power to Kyagulanyi( NRM/NUP).

The first lines of Nyanzi's letter to Museveni also sound interesting. The letter must have been written by Rubongoya but full of Nyanzi's thoughts. 

"President Museveni, the Electoral Commission declared you the winner of the 2021 general elections. I will address you with the title of President and recognize you as the democratically elected president of Uganda. "

So, NUP now recognises Museveni as the president simply because the EC declared him a winner? So, who did they want to declare him a winner? 

It should  be noted that during Besigye times,in almost every instance, the opposition was clamouring that its supporters stand firm to confront its opponents. NUP has, after just a few years as the official opposition, negotiated for normalization. 

No doubt,Besigye/FDC was a formidable competitor to Museveni, unlike the man in his mid-40s. He was the only opponent who realistically challenged Museveni, but selfishness, greediness, and short-sightedness by Bobi destroyed him instantly, thus, weakening the opposition and creating an easy way for the Muhoozi presidency. It was all cleverly planned!
