{UAH} Don't assassinate a leader before getting a clear picture!

Lincoln was shot at Ford's Theatre, which is about five blocks east of the White House. It's still there in Washington. 

His assassination serves as an object lesson as to why we shouldn't eliminate leaders before looking at the big picture. John Wilkes Booth killed the one man who could have brought reconciliation between North and South and between Black and White.

Booth could be said to have contributed to the problems of Jim Crow, the KKK, and more racism in the USA. Had Lincoln not died on April 15, 1865, it is quite possible, if not probable, that there would have never been the need for a Civil Rights movement to exist from 1955 onward.

BTW, I also saw a "Black lives matter" building not far from Lincoln Memorial. Oprah Winfrey contributed 21 million dollars towards its construction.
